We compiled a list of high-demand content for May so that you know what concepts and subjects to base your work around. Remember Wirestockers: for the best results, your content should include individuals of diverse ages, ethnicities, genders, abilities, and body types. Always upload your model and property releases for recognizable people and locations! For all original artwork, property releases are required too.

The enduring trend is authenticity and this month is no different. You are more likely to find success if you shoot high-quality and authentic images in the following topics...

Graduation

Graduation season is coming up and we are looking for images for this special day. Take close-up shots of the cap and gown and most importantly take shots that tell a story. A series of shots that tell a story together will likely sell well this month.

Small businesses

We love small businesses, and would love to see how the local businesses, restaurants, and food trucks are doing in your area. Keep it authentic and people-centered!

Father’s Day

It’s time to prepare for Father’s Day. This includes Grandfathers too!  Specifically, we are looking for intimate, emotion-evoking, authentic images! We are excited to see photographs displaying the bonds you have with your father figures.

Early stage pregnancy.

We want to see behaviors, cravings, reveals, pregnancy tests, and everything else in the beginning months of pregnancy. Get creative, honest, and artistic with your images.

The Morning!

Focus in on the morning and send us clips and images of people starting their day; getting out of bed, hitting snooze, breakfast, stretching, etc. This can be animals as well in a silly way!

3D Printing

If it is accessible for you, consider taking shots of the 3D printing process. A series of authentic photos of people interacting with 3D printers are sure to sell well as the trend is ever expanding. Remember to avoid including brand names or software names in the shot.

Illustrations

We are looking for illustrations this month, specifically diverse illustrations that advocate for inclusivity. The high-demand themes are LGBTQ+, Asian representation, along with retro and futuristic illustrations.

UGC

UGC or User Generated Content is in high-demand these days. Specifically, this month, we are looking for UGC video footage. Briefly, UGC is anything shot without an agenda, it is candid footage. This could be taken with your cell phone, with minimal editing. Preferably, the footage shows a “real, authentic” reaction or experience and is also emotionally appealing. If you would like more information about UGC, go and check out our latest blog article on UGC.

This month we are focusing on shots of people, so remember your model releases. We wish you luck, and are excited to see what you come up with.
